I have a glass-mounted antenna on my car
but am having problems with my signal. Why is this happening?
There are several
things you can do to check the performance of your glass mounted XM antenna.
First, ensure it has been properly installed. The inner and outer antenna
couplers must be exactly aligned for the signal to pass through the glass
correctly. They also must not be installed on heavily tinted windows or
windows with a metallicized covering - these will interfere with the signal
passing through the glass. If you need further technical assistance, please
contact the manufacturers, Terk Technologies at 1.800.942.TERK (8375) for
the TRK-SR1 or Antenna Specialist at 800-321-9977 for the XM-8000F.
