The Conaxsat Trio FTA receiver is PVR ready FTA receiver via USB 2.0 port. It comes with 3 USB ports, a Multimedia Player (for DIVX media files), 32MB RAM, S-Video out, Component out, digital audio, 5000 channels and much more!

Product Features and Highlights

The Conaxsat Trio FTA receiver provides digital free to air satellite reception for the USA, Canadian, and Caribbean markets. The Conaxsat Trio has similar features as the Conaxsat Duo, but the Trio model comes with 3 USB ports and a Multimedia Player that allows you to play DIVX media such as mp3's, movies from your hard drive while PVR is in use. What is blind scan or smart search?
This is common feature available in most FTA receivers. It is either a software based blind scan or the faster hardware based blind scan. It's purpose is to find channels on a particular satellite with out any scanninig rules. It "blindly" scans every possible horizontal and verticle satellite frequency and symbol rate. What this means is you get more channels and will not have to depend on channel lists from others.

What are the benefits of more memory in an FTA receiver?
The amount of system memory in an FTA receiver directly relates to the users experience using the receiver. Example would be the on-screen menus and graphics.
