Why should I get a motorized satellite package?

How is the dish motor powered?
The dish motor is an incredible piece of electronics that is weather proof and powered by the satellite cable, also known as RG6. When you are setting up your FTA system you have one satellite cable from the LNB to the motor and out of the motor into the house and then into the receiver. Since the receiver is AC powered, there is enough current running through the cable to power the motor. This gives you a simple and clean install.
