This stationary satellite package includes the Viewsat Ultra Lite FTA receiver, Wave Frontier T55 satellite dish, and three circular M20R LNB’s. This stationary package is designed for those that want to point to multiple circular satellites at the same time. Up to 8 LNB’s is possible.

This complete package features the wildly popular Viewsat VS2000 Ultra Lite FTA receiver and will provide digital free to air satellite reception for the USA, Canadian, and Caribbean markets.

The Viewsat Ultra Lite replaces the Viewsat VS2000 Lite model. The Ultra Lite comes with all the features of the Viewsat Ultra, but smaller in size. This unit comes upgraded with USB 2.0 support for easy software upgrades and a fast conexant processor @ 200MHz. Addtionally, it comes digital audio, s-video, amazing 7-day EPG and a user friendly viewsat user menu.

Why a satellite package with a Wave Frontier Dish?
If you have a few satellite locations in mind and they are all located within 40 degrees of each other then a Wave Frontier dish might be a great choice for you. The dish does not move, but rather points at 3 satellites (up to 8 satellites with the purchase of more LNB's) This type of dish setup it is easy to allow another receiver to connect to it and receive whatever channel the second source wants and is unaffected by the main receiver.

What is the purpose of the 1GB USB memory stick?
Since the Viewsat Ultra has a USB port on it, it makes firmware and channel list upgrades much easier. We have received feedback from owners of older models that do not have USB that it can be frustrating having to disconnect the receiver from the entertainment center and TV and then bring the receiver to the computer room for an upgrade. Now you save the FTA bin file onto the memory stick and then plug it into the receiver. It's a simple process in the onscreen menu to upgrade from USB memory stick. Now you can leave your receiver connected to your TV fulltime.
