If you have a few satellite locations in mind and they are all located within 40 degrees of each other then a Wave Frontier dish might be a great choice for you. The dish does not move, but rather points at 3 satellites (up to 8 satellites with the purchase of more LNB's) This type of dish setup it is easy to allow another receiver to connect to it and receive whatever channel the second source wants and is unaffected by the main receiver.

What is the purpose of the 1GB USB memory stick?
Since the Viewsat Ultra has a USB port on it, it makes firmware and channel list upgrades much easier. We have received feedback from owners of older models that do not have USB that it can be frustrating having to disconnect the receiver from the entertainment center and TV and then bring the receiver to the computer room for an upgrade. Now you save the FTA bin file onto the memory stick and then plug it into the receiver. It's a simple process in the onscreen menu to upgrade from USB memory stick.
